(More customer reviews)I've had this iron for several years, probably about 5. Never had any problems. Works well. I've just dropped it so many times; the base with the retracting cord has taken the brunt of the abuse. I broke the retraction and am now searching for a replacement part or service since the iron's main function is quite serviceable.
